Okay, so here goes.  I originally acquired a 'blogspot' in 2005 and never did anything with it. It has been sat here so deserted, so I have been toying with the idea that this is something that I need to pick up again.  I am not promising proper grammar (sorry Sheila).  Also bearing in mind that English Comp was my only 'B' in college.  So don't expect literature, I have always written as I speak, but without the accent :-).

So what to do? What topic to cover? What to call it? After a couple of weeks and a few yes/no ideas, I finally had an aha moment.

So the blog name should it give away shouldn't it?  How about "We're Not In Kansas Anymore" but that has been so overused; Bill Bryson already has "Note's From a Small Island"; so how about "There and Back Again, notes from a repatriated ex-pat". How does that grab you?  (I also think copyright on Tolkien has passed).

Is peaking into the Mochrie journey back home something you would be interested in?  Yes I know we have been here for three months already, but I believe I could get you guys up to speed. 

I 'plan' on letting you know about our life, loves, plans, maybe even some recipes and of course there will be photos, so watch this space, and wish me luck.
